Hello, HELLO

Chances are you haven’t worked with too many people like me: equal parts critical thinker, creative, and cross-disciplinary bridge-builder. I’m a curious, deep thinking, joke-telling colleague and a thoughtful, empathetic team leader.

Although I’ve been a strategist for most of my career, I have more than a decade of experience designing and conducting consumer research. I’m also an electronic musician and visual artist, both of which are as fundamental to how I approach my work as a design strategist and researcher, as my academic training was.

My resume can tell you more about what I’ve done. Here are some principles I move through the world by:

  • Integrity is everything. It costs nothing to have it and everything to lose it.

  • Stay hungry. With enough curiosity and grit, you can learn and do just about anything.

  • Build a bigger table. Diversity isn’t just about giving up seats at the table for BIPOC and other diverse perspectives. It’s about building bigger tables and rooms, building spaces and places so large they cannot begin to contain the totality of our collective ambition and talent.

  • Have a high bar for excellence and a low bar for bullshit.

  • Be good to people. Being a jerk is a choice. Make better choices.

  • Fight for beauty. Utility, without aesthetic distinction and emotional resonance, has a short shelf life.

  • What you make, makes you. You’re never above the work. Take pride in your craft.

  • Lean into conflict. Friction can enhance and evolve the work and widen your worldview.

WHAT COLLEAGUES HAVE TO SAY

Christina is an amazing thought partner. I find myself frequently going to her to get her thoughts / Ideas on how to approach problems...She instills confidence. I wouldn’t consider releasing a new feature without talking to Christina first!
Some of my favorite things about working with Christina are her creativity and innovation - she is always interested in new ways to approach research and thinks creatively about how to understand the nuances behind both research objectives from stakeholders and insights from her work. Christina also takes a great deal of pride in her work and pays attention to the small details that result in extremely polished and compelling deliverables.
[Key Strengths] Crafting thoughtful and impactful insights. I think Christina is a master at this skill, and I’ve personally seen & heard teams enthusiastically mentioning how valuable Christina’s input is into strategy.
